QuickTime Virtual Reality QTVR

QuickTime Virtual Reality ( QTVR ) is an example of an interactive panorama software program.  It can be used to create virtual tours and interactive scenes.

This program allows the user to move forward, backward, right, left, and so forth within a scene.    There are a number of books available on  QuickTime VR.

QuickTime VR Authoring, Apple's webpage of their available QTVR software, and a VR Showcase of links to examples, such as The Louvre Museum.
